Cuimsiú Competition
Mayo Comhaltas in collaboration with ÁIRC Mayo are delighted to present the inaugural Cuimsiú Fleadh competition for people with a disability/additional need. This is an opportunity to develop participation and enjoyment of traditional Irish music arts for all in Mayo. This inaugural competition is learning for us all, once we have received the entries, competitors will be assigned to the applicable section of the Cuimsiú competition. As this is the inaugural Cuimsiú competition, it is an opportunity for us to learn from this year’s competition and to build on its’ success. The competition will be confined to the county. An adult support person must remain with the competitor throughout the Fleadh.
Cuimsiú Fleadh Entries have now closed. Thank you.

U10 Competitions
As in previous years, a special competition for children U10 (confined to the county) will take place at the fleadh. Competitions will be formed for instruments dependent on number of entrants. There must be at least 5 entries per instrument to hold a stand alone competition, where there are less than 5 entries for a given instrument, they will be included in Miscellaneous. There will be one singing competition to include boys and girls, in English or Irish.
Entries are to be made as normal, on the Fleadh entry form, to your branch secretary who in turn will forward to the County Secretary.
Children may not compete in both U10 and U12 competitions apart from duet, trio, groups, bands, céilí and set dancing at U12.
