We have a thriving branch that is involved in many activities. Castlebar is twinned with a Bavarian town in Germany called Hochstadt. The branch has performed there on a number of occasions.
We have a Comhaltas group of Strawboys who perform whenever they are called upon at weddings and various other functions.
Séan Ó Chonfhaola has been giving Oral Irish classes to Leaving Cert students on a voluntary basis for several years.
The branch organises various events every year including Singing Workshops, Sean Nós Dancing and Music Sessions.
