U10 competitions

As in previous years, a special competition for children U10 (confined to the county) will take place at the fleadh.  Competitions will be formed for instruments dependent on number of entrants.  There must be at least 5 entries per instrument to hold a stand alone competition, where there are less than 5 entries for a given instrument, they will be included in Miscellaneous. There will be one singing competition to include boys and girls, in English or Irish.
Entries are to be made as normal, on the Fleadh entry form, to your branch secretary who in turn will forward to the County Secretary.
Children may not compete in both U10 and U12 competitions apart from duet, trio, groups, bands, céilí and set dancing at U12.

Fleadh Rules

2020 sees a new version of the Fleadh rules introduced, as amended at Congress. Competitors and teachers are advised to read the new rules below. It is the competitors responsibility to ensure that they are adhering to the new rules.
